Background
As part of a $8.5 million project along Route 49 which included five bridge replacements, F-S Prestress provided precast components for two bridges between Brooklyn, MS and Camp Shelby, MS. The first bridge has three spans. Each span has 5 ASSHTO Type II+2 girders, approximately 50’ long. A second bridge has five spans comprised of two spans of 40’ Type I+II, two spans of 60’ Type III, and one span of 90’ Type IV girders.
