Background

For the Margaritaville Resort near Biloxi, Tindall created a distinctive precast concrete building. The parking/entertainment building offered a precast flooring system for vehicles carrying resort visitors as well as rides for the amusement park.

On the top level entertainment deck, the precast structure supports a large number of rides, games, food trucks, and amenities. On the intermediate floor, it offers extra parking for guests. For a total of 183,000 square feet, Tindall produced 2,100 precast components, including a precast flooring system and precast columns and beams that support the two raised decks.

For the first Biloxi Margaritaville Resort idea in 2008, Tindall created precast concrete slabs that were used in this building.  These slabs' exceptional condition demonstrated that Tindall's precast materials can resist the test of time, severe conditions, and bad weather, which is crucial for Gulf Coast construction.

On this project, Tindall's project manager and project engineer collaborated with Margaritaville's internal architectural and general contracting teams to play important roles. The engineering team at Tindall contributed to the design-build project and worked together with the client, strengthening the cooperation.
